what is ATA-passthru storage button manager?

I have ATA-passthru comes on my desk top when I start up I cannot get it to stay off, when I try to close it, it just keeps returning and increases the number of times it appears on my desktop. Please help short of throwing m,y pc out of the window I don’t know how to stop it appearing.

Hi! Try the following:

1. Start–>Run–>msconfig

2. Navigate to ‘Startup’ and uncheck anything you deem related to ATA Pass Through. You should find it no longer runs on startup.

You may also find it in the ‘Run’ key in the registry:

1. Start–>Run–>regedit

2. HKLM\SOFTWARE\Micrososft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Delete the relevant key in the right-hand pane. Let us know how you get along!
